Driving from Durango take Hwy 160 East towards Pagosa Springs, remain on this road from Durango for 104 miles going over Wolf Creek Pass and the Continental Divide. Once you reach the town of South Fork continue driving East past the left turn for Creede. Stay on Hwy 160 for approximately 2.75 miles until reaching the Northbound bridge off CR 19 (the bridge is the uppermost section of this private stretch). Remain on Hwy 160 for .37 miles until you see a dirt entrance with mailboxes on the left (north side of the road) turn onto this road, cross the railroad tracks and enter a strip of woods with a “No Trespassing Sign.” The entrance to the property is just a little over 3 miles from the spur in South Fork. Follow the dirt road to the right heading thru a small strip of woods until entering a small meadow and pond. Take a left off the dirt road and park near the river. You should see a small primitive campfire ring near a good parking location. Unload and begin fishing.
