The San Miguel River – Naturita, Colorado
Kichelmann Canyon
Streaming through a scenic desert canyon, the San Miguel River is a mix of long runs and riffles and deep holes. Boulders make up most of the structure in the river where fish hold. The top half of the property is accessed by a rugged dirt road with trails leading to the river; the lower half is accessed from a trail leading from State Hwy 90. When getting ready for your trip, make sure you’re preparing for an adventure in rugged terrain. The work you put in getting up and down the canyon will surely be rewarded with rainbows and browns in your net.
