Driving from Durango take Hwy 160 South past Walmart continue to the light at Home Depot and make a right.  Continue straight on River Road crossing a bridge over the Animas River.  This road will become CR 213 (La Posta Rd) remain on this road for 5.2 miles until reaching the intersection of CR 214 and CR 213 (you will see a Southern Ute parking lot off to your right), take a right and remain on 213 on the West Side of the Animas River.  Continue driving approximatley 4.8 miles until reaching a gravel road with a Red Cedar Oil Company Sign, make a left onto this gravel road.  Remain on the gravel road until passing an Oil Pump on your right continue driving down hill on the gravel until reaching the Corrals.  Park at the Corrals and continue towards the river.
